Jossette was born in February 3, 1979 in Redwood City, California of Hispanic and Portuguese descent. Her hobbies include playing the piano, exercising and of course singing. Jossette has been involved with music and dance ever since the age of five. At a young age her parents had enrolled her for piano lessons, tap classes, and gymnastics.
