A Beijing Rock Coming of Age w/ Jonny Canuck
My teenage coming-of-age was at 25. In 2000, in Beijing to study, I wound up deep in the yaogun (rock) scene, itself just a teen. The yaogun that blew my mind, in a way that seemed only for teens – immediate, intense, life-altering – inspired my book on its story (& more); hope it inspires you too.
