Sounds of stillness and peace from the Japanese "kankyō ongaku" movement - environmental and ambient recordings, produced as a reaction to the growing hyper-commercialisation and urbanisation of 1980s Japan.
Through continual splits, reformations, and shedding key band members, the brain child of Roxy Music was always Bryan Ferry. Imbuing the project with an art-school sensibility, Ferry's lyrics were arch, world weary and romantic, and the music was glamorous and lush at a time when UK rock music was often bloated and terribly unhip.

We were truly delighted to be able to participate in this year’s edition of Forget Amnesia, an incredible contemporary art festival held on the volcanic island of Stromboli in Sicily. This year’s curators, Haroon Mirza and Milovan Farronato, put together a great series of performances, exhibitions, installations and shows, with a particular focus on sound and music. Below you can hear three special show packages put together during the festival, with samples from the events held across the two weeks, and interviews with participating artists. You can also listen to a selection of our recordings of DJ and live sets. Enjoy!
