Playground is a community-based organization whose founding pillars are rooted in providing the Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn neighborhood with a safe space to exchange art, cultural knowledge, and strategies to build positive lasting social change. We tackle community needs such as literary-access, food equity, arts, and culture through a range of open-access programs, initiatives, and events for all. In ‘OFFERINGS,’ we are extending the music, voices, and sounds that propel and keep us afloat while we do community and mutual sustainability work for those around us. The radio space is our altar to impart musical knowledge, cultural memory, intimate realities, and our taste. Here on the airwaves, we want to offer our musical solace to all.
