Rock Against Racism w/ Debbie Golt and Canan Batur

An oral history of Rock Against Racism, a grassroots movement (1976-82) that brought music and musicians of reggae, punk, ska and jazz to empower social cohesion and unity against systematic and cultural racism, with collected soundbites and interviews from Paul Gilroy, Lucy Whitman, Jo Wreford, Tom Robinson, Billy Bragg, Linton Kwesi Johnson, and more. This mix is edited by Debbie Golt of RAR-RAP (Rock Against Racism – Research ‘n’ Archive Project), in preparation for the upcoming exhibition at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea opening on 18 September 2021.
