Sawt o Soura" / بالصوت والصورة, translates to "in image and sound" in Darija, dually signifying "in flesh and bone", used to express longing to be in another's physical presence. Cinematic soundscapes are synthesized through Sufi, Gnawa, Rai, Chaabi, techno and other forms by Moroccan-American filmmaker and DJ Mounir Aicha Soussan, creating a sonic bridge between Casablanca and Los Angeles.
