I’ve left New Zealand, my friends, and loved ones to live in Japan. Summer is approaching here, but so is typhoon season, which brings rain. This unfamiliar pairing of events adds to the feeling of displacement on my journey. Music has always been a way for me to find solitude wherever I might be. I’ve compiled a collection of compositions from artists I admire deeply. My intention for this arrangement of sounds is to help with processing confronting or challenging feelings and to reveal the harmonious moments that are sometimes hard to see.
