Classic Hip Hop

In a career beginning that mirrored many other young rappers in the 90s and 2000s, Foxy Brown was a hot property in hip hop before releasing any of her own material. Her fiery features on tracks from Jay-Z, Total, Toni Braxton and more led to major label bidding war, eventually leading her to sign with Def Jam, who were fostering an exciting new crop of young, hard women rappers.
