INZANE MICHIGAN: CLIX Records Special
Dating back to the 1940s, Michigan birthed countless prolific record labels that documented the trailblazing blues, bluegrass and country scenes that were happening across the Great Lakes State. This episode focuses on the history of CLIX Records. The long-defunct, Troy, Michigan-based label, was responsible for pressing a sizable stack of early, backwoodsy rock ’n roll. Stay tuned for some Southern-flavored rockabilly, cut just outside of Detroit during the 1950s and early ’60s.
