Off the back of the LCO’s recent collaboration with CHAINES exploring the theme of ‘electronic pioneers’ for NTS’ Uniqlo Tate Lates, we look at a number of artists who had a major impact on the development of electronic music throughout the 20th century, including Else Marie Pade, Laurie Spiegel, Annea Lockwood, Delia Derbyshire, Daphne Oram, and Pauline Oliveros, whose music features as part of the LCO’s upcoming performance at the Spitalfields Music Festival on December 8th. And at the very end of the show we’ve got a couple of tracks off our new record with Danny Mulhern, ‘Reflections on a Dead Sea’, released on 1631 Recordings on November 10th.
