Selections from Ruby Khaira, long time record collector with a love of all things Punjabi music. Digging deep into the record crates as a celebration of Punjab's rich musical heritage and worldwide impact. From dance floor Bhangra bangers to desi folk anthems — if it was pressed onto vinyl, it might just get played.

From the host: "Ruby Khaira presents DesiVinyl 80s Flashback - an hour-long nostalgic journey through the early UK Bhangra sound. Revisiting the records, artists and memories that shaped the emerging 80s UK Punjabi music scene."
