Over an hour of premium bumping East Coast Garage House from Eddie Perez - the prolific producer, writer and recording engineer from Paterson, New Jersey.
Perez first made his name in the house and New Jersey garage scene under the 'Smack' and 'Mental Instrum' aliases. His roughed up swung out takes on New York Garage would eventually find their way to South London in the early 90s to form the bedrock of the UK Garage sound.

Euphoria costume designer, Heidi Bivens joins Lynette on this week’s episode of Sounds & Style to discuss her subcultural influences. Heidi grew up under the influence of the Riot Grrrl movement, and later moved to New York in the early 1990s, at the intersection of hip-hop, skate culture and punk. Later her role as costume design on Harmony Korine’s Beach Bum gave her an unexpected appreciate for yacht rock and easy listening.
