London-based DJ Imogen takes on the NTS airwaves, bouncing between fuzzy electro and punishing techno.

By the latter half of the 1960s, The Beach Boys had emerged as America's preeminent pop group, and the only other band up to challenging the contemporary cultural and chart hegemony of The Beatles. Famed for their gorgeous harmonic vocals and pioneering production techniques, any pop music made since has a little Beach Boys in its DNA. This In Focus is a two hour sail through the timeless sunshine pop of The Beach Boys.

Artist and audio maker, Alicia Matthews, takes over the NTS airwaves once a month for a rhythm ’n’ gloom showdown.
