Shaping the Pre-Millenium Iberian Sound w/ Jaisiel

This is mix is inspired by pre-internet demo culture in Spain, when producers submitted their recordings on CDRs to radio stations in the hope of being featured. At a time when music circulated physically, outside of online permanence, many tracks remained unfinished, anonymous, or purely functional, created for a moment rather than a legacy. All the tracks were created by independent producers from Spain operating outside the professional release structures. (Extra info: I wanted to focus in this mix on the more downtempo side of this compilation of cd's I've been finding, but I have more clubby stuff for part2! )
