The Ramblers Dance Band has been played on NTS shows including Kit Records, with Ama Bonsu first played on 20 June 2021.

The Ramblers Dance Band, (Ghana 1990) was reformed from the members of the original Ramblers Dance Band (Ghana 1962 - 1982) which had been led by the saxophonist and arranger Jerry Hansen, who had emigrated to New York after 1982. The Ramblers Dance Band was led by Jerry Hansen JR, releasing a comeback collection, Giants Of Dance Band Highlife, for USA label Original Music in 1991.
