NTS regular Phew has been hosting a show since 4 March 2021. NTS aired an episode dedicated to the music of Phew on 29 May 2020. Phew has been played on NTS over 120 times, featured on 103 episodes and was first played on 16 June 2014.

Started out as a member of the legendary punk band Aunt Sally. In 1980 she collaborated with Sakamoto Ryuichi on the single Shukyoku. In '81 she and the members of Can made the album Phew.
