Traveler and DIY documentarian Adelina S traverses the savannahs and deserts of the Sahel region, recording griots who travel from remote village to village performing to make a living. Through storytelling and field recordings, Adelina shares the winding paths - and the choices - that led to growing close to and be welcomed by this community.
From the host: "Radio show featuring field recordings taken during a road trip with a Fulani Griot band performing for spiritual healers around Fouta-Toro region in Senegal. Through sounds and storytelling the show wil travel to the Sahelian Savanna where centuries old music tradition blends with amplified guitars."
