This month’s show features the great Senegalese singer, Madiodio Gning through her 1993 self-titled album and her 1994 album, Sultanu Arifine followed by a track from a previously featured guest on this show, Coumba Gawlo, where Madiodio joins in the chorus on her 1995 album, Kor Dior. Beautiful music from the period of burgeoning mbalax.
