Soundscapes w/ lenalikes
I firtsly immersed myself in ambient music, with works that include field recordings with wind sounds, distant echoes, subtle movements. Then I discovered the artists of the movement called "Kankyō Ongaku", who have been created delicate artificial environments using electronic instruments.
I wanted to gather artists who share this spirit and reinterpret it today, through younger labels such as Mizuha 罔象 or the artist Lamina.
To me, they push the boundaries of an imagined utopia between the natural and the artificial — a place where dreamy forests could be felt with synthesizers.
