AUTOTUNE THE WORLD W/ Alghabid Ghabdouan

For this month we decided to invite Alghabid Ghabdouan, superstar drummer for the Tuareg rock band Etran de L'Aïr, as they kick off their USA tour. When he's not traveling the world, Alghabid is a truck driver, making the long journeys back and forth from the salt mines to the desert capital of Agadez. These are some of the select tunes curated from his cellphone, highlighting some road music, from autotuned regional Nigerian film soundtracks, drum machine Tuareg love ballads, and y2k coupé décalé.
