In Focus: Marta Sebestyen
Beloved in her home of Hungary for spreading the country's traditional songwriting tradition beyond its borders to an international audience, vocalist Márta Sebestyén was bound for a musical life from a young age. The daughter of a music teacher who herself was a student of great Hungarian composer and ethnomusicologist Zoltan Kodaly, Sebestyén "grew up in the magic of traditional music".
