LABOUR w/ Coumba Gawlo

Tune in each month for LABOUR’s hour-long show featuring rotating guests and friends from Dakar, Senegal. Expect a mixture of progressive electronic music with heavy sabar drum music, classic & current Mbalax, and timeless Sufi praises. This show features the great living Senegalese singer Coumba Gawlo Seck, daughter of the famed griot singer Fatou Kine Mbaye, here with focus on her releases from the early 90s including Seytane, Accident, Yo Male and her collaborative release with previous NTS feature Souleymane Faye, titled Gawlo & Diego.
